Network Openness

Vast Networks commits to conforming to the policy set forth in FCC 05-15. Vast Networks has no plan or policy to monitor the types of communications or exchanges over the Internet, except where such communications cause other customers to suffer a loss of service level or where the activity is illegal under state or federal law.

Vast Networks agrees to post its terms and conditions on its customer website. Vast Networks reserves the right to specify different terms and conditions based on class of service, such as business or consumer service. All last-mile service is connected to the Internet at adequate speeds to maintain the advertised speed based on normal patterns of service.

Interconnection and Devices

Vast Networks will allow and support private network interconnection as necessary for the use of its customers. Vast Networks will also allow any device that does not cause harm to the network or have a harmful effect on its customers.

Unique requests will be responded to in less than 30 days and will be allowed as long as they are technically feasible according to the existing capacity and capabilities of the network.

Vast Networks intends to impose no other conditions, including volume restrictions, except as necessary for the provision of service to its customers.

Permissible Use

Vast Networks imposes certain restrictions on consumers’ permissible use of the site and services. Consumers are prohibited from violating or attempting to violate any security features of the site or services, including, without limitation:

Any violation of system or network security may subject the consumer to civil and/or criminal liability.
